16th Advanced Building Skins Conference & Expo in 2021
International platform for architects, engineers, scientists and the building industry
Architects, engineers and representatives of the worldwide building industry are meeting at the annual International Conference on Advanced Building Skins in Bern to discuss the latest trends and new developments in sustainable building design.
The conference is Europe’s leading event on building envelopes and combines top-class presentations with active networking in the construction industry. Every year, over 150 speakers present new projects and developments in the design of building skins.
The TensiNet Association will be represented at this 16th Conference on Advanced Building Skins with two TensiNet sessions on Membrane Architecture and with a TensiNet booth designed by associate partner POLIMI. Lastly, we will organise the TensiNet Meeting “TensiNet and friends” scheduled on Thursday 21st October at 18.00.

Competition and exhibition of innovative lightweight structures: An invitation for artists, designers, engineers, and researchers. Organized by the new IASS Working Group 21 “Advanced manufacturing and materials” in close cooperation with the IASS Symposium 2021 and the 7th international conference on Spatial Structures in Surrey.
61 years of IASS and the 3rd WG21 Expo
After the success of the 2015 IASS expo in Amsterdam and the 2019 expo in Barcelona, WG21 is organising a new exhibition to celebrate this success during the annual international symposium of the IASS and the 7th international conference on Spatial Structures. The expo, symposium and conference will take place in Surrey from 23 to 27th August 2021.
The deadline for entries is January 31st, 2021.
